We
develop and implement projects for the spaces between
buildings in towns and cities. The spaces between
buildings are often neglected yet have the potential
to be vital resources and form vital and vibrant
social resources.
Lighting design in urban spaces needs to be robust and appropriate. by robust we mean that not only does a lighting scheme need to stand up to harsh treatment but it also needs to stand the test of time. The best practice in the creation of urban spaces and their illumination is that which is an appropriate architectural response and that which will not date, but will weather and age as part of our urban fabric.
