Canterbury
Castle dates from 1086, is open to the public and has
recently undergone a series of landscape and access
improvements. As part of these improvements we
illuminated the castle in two colours of white light.
An internal glow was added to the castle to model the
interior and to reveal the size and depth of the
building.
The castle was completely unaffected by the lighting installation as all equipment is remote from the fabric of the building. In addition archaeological records were consulted in siting equipment to ensure the conservation of the site.
